The 550 Catnic Kommerling Tilt Block is usually used with F and K balances. Sometimes called a pivot shoe, a tilt block works together with a pivot bar, connecting the sash to the balances, with the protruding part of the bar fitting into the slot of the pivot shoe. The balance is then connected via the slots on the top of the pivot shoe, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the tilt and slide window.
